Product: Pavilion Desktop 590-p0044, Product No 3LA79AA#ABA
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! When I ran HP Support Assistant for updates last night, it offered the Realtek RTL8xxx Series Bluetooth Driver for Microsoft Windows 10 (DCHU), version 1.6.1015.3008, sp98235.  I noted the description of the package states, "This contains the DCHU driver installation package for the Realtek bluetooth in the supported notebook/laptop models and operating systems (Microsoft Windows 10 and Windows 10 Cloud OS)," but I installed it since it was offered to me and restarted the computer, after which the HPSA Action Log for my desktop indicated the installation failed.  It is now being offered again, and I am asking for your assistance in determining if this update applies to my Pavilion Desktop 590-p0044 or is actually for laptop?

This HP Support download site (Link) lists all available software for your product number.

 

I don't see any Bluetooth driver download options.

 

HPSA is not always 100% accurate. Avoid downloading and installing BIOS updates per HPSA recommendations.
