HP Pavillion 23 All-In-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ran a Drag and Drop Test on my Mouse. It would not Drag and Drop Right to Left. Got this

Code:9GE164-7SC9HK-MFPNL1-G1T003.

Compaq Optical Mouse. Can someone explain the Code please?  Yes, I can and will replace the Mouse, if that is actually the issue. Thank you in advance!

@Mikey7a

You've performed the hardware test and it resulted with the failure ID: 9GE164-7SC9HK-MFPNL1-G1T003

Here's what the ID represents: failure code 807

Represents: Mouse Button Failure

As you've rightly mentioned, replacing the mouse is the way forward, to resolve this issue, you could do it via HP Part Surfer (if the device is out of warranty),

Or, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options:

follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on "Continue as guest".

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
