OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0024
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm getting this failure ID on my HD

Q313VA-9MXBNN-GXGJ2K-60Q103

It's essentially not recognizing the drive is there, and since it's the one holding all of my programs except the basics, it's extremely annoying.  Is there anything I can do before I just chuck the whole computer?

Hi:

Enter the required information at the link below, and you will be provided with a report that probably will state in substance that you will need to install a new NVMe SSD drive.

HP Customer Support - Service Center

You may want to install one having a larger capacity than 256 GB.

Here's a related service teardown video:

After you replace the drive, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool which will create a bootable recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility...You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

Since you have to use the recovery tool on another PC, you will need to enter your PC's full product number in the tool's search window, which is 4NM66AA#ABA
