I am getting a 90B fan error for a while now upon bootup. I can bypass or power off, then power back on and my laptop boots up fine. I do not hear any fan noise nor does the laptop appear to be running hot. I ran the HP diagnostics tool and the CPU1 fan failed and the CPU2 fan passed. I also updated my BIOS (says that this could cause a 90B fan error), but still getting the error. Can I order this fan myself? My laptop is out of warranty (although it's only 2 1/2 yrs old) and I do feel comfortable enough to replace myself (I used to work on laptops in the past). Can anyone guide me on this? Thank you very much!

The part numbers for the CPU and GPU replacement cooling fans for your HP ENVY x360 15 Convertible PC 15-es2000 are:
M45465-001 "FAN CPU" -can be ordered here, for example, and: N07741-001 "FAN GPU 22C1" -can be ordered here, for example.
Depending which fan needs replacement, either fan can be ordered online. The "CPU1" likely refers to the CPU fan, but that wasn't clear to me.
In any regards, you can replace the fan(s) yourself, it doesn't require a great deal of DIY-savviness: Error 90B HP Laptop X360 Fan Replacement.
