Fan speed does not increase with temperature. I can monitor the fans RPM with HP Performance Advisor and they stay the same for any temp the CPU goes. Tried power drain, bios factory reset.  In the BIOS I have the setting to change the Fan Idle Speed and nothing more.
BIOS Version/Date HP Q50 Ver. 01.08.11, 16.10.2024.
Embedded Controller Version 7.212

Greetings @aecko

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You might be able to control the fans within Windows using "Fan Control" available at this Site.

I have not tried this software as I can set fan curves on retail MBs.

I have no idea if this software is clean since I have not used the software.

You would be trying this software at your own risk.

When all else fails you might try a third party software' check this link to Tech Guided website about a few options that may work for you.  Best Fan Control Software for Windows.

Greetings @aecko

Sorry to see "Fan Control" did not work.

I have no other suggestions.
