Hello guys i have a hp 8767 and im looking to install extra fans
So I have two pins on my motherboard
One 3 pin for chassis fan
One 4 pin for cpu cooler fan
Now im looking to install a fan, I recently bought a 4pin fan
But im wondering something, all fan splitters split the 4 pin into 1x 4pin and 2x3 pin
The only one 4 pin is going to the cpu cooler
Can I use the 3 pin for my new 4 pin fan
And one more thing
Im not sure how many sata ports I have
I have a had plugged in
I may want to use the sata port to connect to the fan but it depends

Greetings @Yeskinggaming1
My pleasure.
Thanks for the image in your response.
The SATA power to fan cables shown in your image would not work with your PC.
Your PC's power supply does not provide a daisy chained SATA power cable which is needed to provide power to the fan cables in your image.

Greetings @Yeskinggaming1
You should be able to connect the female four pin splitter cable to the 3 pin MB fan header.
Then connect the three pin fans or four pin fans to the fan splitter cable.
MB SATA headers are data connections.
You would not connect fans to MB SATA headers.
Three Baker MB SATA headers are highlighted in red:
