HP P7-1100 Hibiscus
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got stuck with the HP P7-1100 Hibiscus-Motherboard. After I switched to windows 10 the fans keep running at shut down and pressing the power button does nothing. I have to hold it down till the computer powers off. I have updated all of the drivers that I can think of. Is anybody else having the same issue. Nothing has been added to the system.

just because the video display has turned off does not mean that the system has finished shutting down all running tasks.

it's normal for the display to be off and have windows still in the process of shutting down for another 15 to 25 seconds or even longer if a running task refuses to terminate gracefully and windows has to force quit a program, just wait and windows will do it's thing and then finally turn off the power to the system

Fan keeps running all night and still does not boot into windows if i press power. If i hit the power button before windows starts to load it will shut down completely. Seems to be a driver issue.

so start windows in safe mode and see if it shuts down normally, also read the windows log files related to shutdowns to see what the actual file is causing the issue
