HP Slim Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a HP Slim Desktop model 290-p0043w, on Sept 14, 2019.  Spent 3 hours yesterday with tech support having remote access because the pc kept freezing. Now this morning I can’t even open a browser. For the last 30 minutes there has been a blank white screen with a spinning blue circle. There is nothing at all in the system tray. Only thing I can do is bring up the task manager and close Google Chrome, which is what i was trying unsuccessfully to open. Microsoft Edge won’t open, either, but the screen doesn’t go white, just get the spinning circle.

Until yesterday the disc drive didn’t work. Now i can put a disk in, bring up File Explorer and see the disk contents but when i try to open files on the disk, “File Explorer is not responding”.

HP Support Assistant won’t even open! Gives me error message: “File system error (-2018374627).”

Your tech support person has completely ruined this machine.

After spending 10 minutes typing this on my phone, the pc is now responding. According to a google search, the system error indicates a disk problem. I really do want a refumd
