Your inquiry is really vague, so please state the exact model number of this HP desktop.
Any desktop of that circa, 1998, has Legacy BIOS, and can never be upgraded to UEFI BIOS. That means that any graphic card must have been made PRIOR to Sept 2012.

There seems to conflict in the release date. That unit is June 2013.
Please verify it has UEFI, via this program.
If it is UEFI, the gtx 1050Ti, provided it does not have a PCIe power plug requirement.
