Hi,

Sadly my mighty HP Pavillion Mini 300-250 board fried following a power outage.

My computer was in hibernate mode. At first when I was trying to boot the computer I would get no operating system error. I thought the issue was something with the hard drive and the hibernate session but I quickly realized that even when I was trying to boot with USB I was getting the same error and the hard drive was working perfectly fine on another computer.

After looking into it and checking the board it looks like one of the capacitors fried.

I would like to replace it but not sure what I should get ? anyone would have access to the blueprints for the specifications ?

Thanks !

@6b4a9441fc , welcome to the Community.

Here are all of the components for your computer on HP PartSurfer.  If you look at the section titled "PC Board" you will find the part number for the motherboard.  Unfortunately, HP doesn't provide the schematics for their motherboards.

You may be able to get the part number by looking at the capacitor.

Hi @Old_geekster thank you, I am aware of the spare part being available however the ones being sold online are not worth the cost... vs. just changing one capacitor !

I was wondering if HP can communicate the information...
