I need to know where the front panel connections are hooked to on the motherboard and where it is located.. It is not labeled on my new board or the old board. I was not smart enough to look at them or take a picture before removing the old board. Better yet, can you send me a link to where I can get this information? Or maybe how I could chat with HP.

Yep! You just learned a lesson that I learned years ago: "A picture is worth a thousand words"! 😉 It is a very common mistake. We always believe that our memories are better than they actually are.
HP doesn't make any of this information available. Here is the best diagram that I could find for the front connectors: http://www.findlaptopdriver.com/h-rs880-uatx-power-switch-reset-switch-power-led/
I believe that you will start with the left facing connectors and work towards the right as they are listed.
