Hello,

 

I have a gaming pc Omen 880 with Tampa 2 motherboard, i can't install my new GPU (asus strix with 3 fan) coz of GFX power connector that nearby to first PCI express, and when i put it in 2nd PCI also i get problem with Hard drive cage 🤔

I can install GPU in first PCI when i remove 6 pin connector from GFX PWR, i want to know its ok to unplug 6 pin connector from GFX power or may coz problem ?

Those power connectors are needed.

Maybe you can use an adapter.

I tried last night and i installed it in the first slot of PCI after unplug GFX PWR connector and my GPU works without issues, i need to know what the benefits of that is needed for SLI or needed as always for GPU ?
