GPU Upgrade
02-17-2021 06:56 AM

My pc is old, bought in 2013, came with Nvidia GT 630 gpu. I want to upgrade it to a better gpu if possible. Power supply can be changed if needed.
BaseBoard Manufacturer : Foxconn
BaseBoard Product : 2ADA
BaseBoard Version : 1.00
Any gpu suggestions ? or any gpu requirements guide available?

Hi,
Your PC is about 8 years old. The PCIe x16 graphics card slot is Gen 2 (Gen 3 is the latest version on newer Intel systems). The MB specs can be reviewed here (Link).
What do you want to do? Some newer AAA games may not run well on this aging CPU, chipset, and memory (DDR3) architecture.
Your PC has a UEFI BIOS. You can install newer UEFI graphics cards if they fit in your MB and chassis. The MB is 9.6 inches in length. You would have to measure to determine the maximum graphics card length in the chassis.
I can't find a specific P6-2410sem product. I don't know what PSU you have. You have to select a graphics card. Then check power supply recommendations and upgrade the PSU as needed.
Regards
