hi, i have purchased the HP Pavilion 550-123a and ive noticed that it is using 1GB of Viedo ram and if i look up the gpu (AMD Radeon R5 330) it has 2Gb.

Doesn't look like anything is wrong... I think. Total being 2276, and part being shared and part dedicated. What told you that it wasn't using all GPU memory?

See if this guide helps you, you need to change the amount of VRAM allocated in the BIOS.

Did you see something called "UMA Frame Buffer Size"?

That's fine. Make sure the default video card is set to the 330 in the BIOS if it isn't already.

That's odd. Try something in Windows for me...
Control Panel > System and Security > Power Options, and set it to "High Performance" if it is not there already.
