TP-01 2255
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the machine found here: https://support.hp.com/lv-en/document/c07496533

I purchased a GPU for use in the PCI-16 slot. The GPU needs to connect to the power supply through a 6pin connector.

Does my power supply not have one? I cant seem to find it.

Thanks for your time, I know it's valuable.

@awsunit , welcome to the Community.

The power supply unit (PSU) in your computer is 310W.  This wattage will normally not have any PCIe power connectors; especially since you have Integrated Graphics.  If it does have one it should be easy to see when you open the side panel.

Who is the manufacturer and what is the model of your new GPU?  You may have to upgrade the PSU if it doesn't provide enough wattage to run it properly.

Yeah, there wasn't any extra wires. Kind of a silly waste of 310W.

I have a MSI GTX 1650 as seen here.

I ordered a 500W PSU that is supposed to fit (it's actually smaller, go figure).

You may be able to run the 1650 with your 310W PSU.  The card only requires 250W and no PCIe power connectors.  However, having a more powerful PSU will be an advantage for other upgrades.

Oof, I gave the wrong link. Here is the specific version I have, which (unless I'm mistaken) needs a 6pin.

Yes, this makes a difference.  It does show the 1x6-pin PCIe power connector in this version.  You should get good system performance increase with it.

Good luck!
