Hello all. I want to upgrade my GPU to something a little better for games like Doom Eternal, I have the pavilion 590-P0072 desktop with the factory AMD Ryzen 5 processor and the AMD Vega graphics card. What graphics cards are compatible with this system and will fit.
Thanks

@cheesy_big_mac , welcome to the forum.
Your Forum name makes me hungry! 😉
Now, let's get serious. I want to check to assure the model that you listed is what you have: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-590-p0000i/37730885/model/29044203/docum...
The specifications in the link don't match what you listed; AMD Ryzen 5 and AMD Vega graphics. In the link it is an i7-9700 and Intel® UHD Graphics 630. Let me know which is correct.
Also, your motherboard is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector, instead of a standard ATX 24-pin power connector. This means that you will have to buy a PSU from HP if the video card you want to buy needs more wattage than your PSU can provide. Please check your PSU to see how much wattage it provides. The one in the link is 310W.

@Old_geekster No, I have the sunflower motherboard, the Vega GPU I have from HP has a single HDMI port, and while it works fine and I can run large games like battlefield 4, skyrim and Halo with no problem I cannot run newer games like Doom Eternal.
here is my exact system info
Product name : HP Pavilion Desktop 590-p0xxx
Product number : 3LB80AA#ABA
Software build ID : 18WW1NRT603#SABA#DABA
Motherboard ID : 8433
BIOS : F.15-07/24/2018
Total memory : 32 GB (I upgraded from the factory 8GB 😉)
Processor name:AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics
All I am looking for is a short list of possible, and affordable GPUs I can use in this PC, just want to be sure before I spend $200+ on a new card and it wont work

hi
@cheesy_big_mac wait for the return of @old_geekster
you indicated the wrong model (HP Pavilion 590-p0072), you have this:
HP Pavilion 590-p0076 Product Specifications
motherboard specifications, Sunflower
310 W Gold efficiency power supply
you will be limited mainly by the power supply

Thank you for the additional information, @cheesy_big_mac!
As stated by @Prométhée, this is your computer 590-p0076.
The best place to begin when you want to upgrade the video card is with the System Requirements for the game/s. Here they are for the Doom Eternal: https://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/doom-eternal/17891
The Recommended Requirements will allow you to play the games at high settings with smooth game play which is what we all want. Your system actually is closer to the Minimum Requirements: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-desktop-pc-590-p0000a/19390500/model/24521784/docum...
You can run a search for all of the games that you play to see what this site has to say.
The video card in your link should work with your current power supply unit (PSU) (310W). This is the absolute minimum that will run it. If you want to play games with higher settings you will have to upgrade your PSU and buy a more powerful video card. You can read the last paragraph of my previous post for this information.
Here is a Power Supply Cross-Reference Chart that will show you which HP PSU's are compatible with your Sunflower motherboard: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model...
All of the PSU's that are listed for the Sunflower motherboard will be compatible with yours.
