Hi all,
Quick question on the HP Omen GT15-0000i - is there an additional slot to add another HDD? It has a 500 gig SSD and a 1 TB HDD and I'm close to maxing out the HDD (have about 200 gigs left). I opened up my computer yesterday and didn't see an additional bay for another HDD. Am I missing it or is this type of computer only configured for the one additional HDD? I believe there is another SSD slot located behind my GPU, but I'm not entirely sure how to figure out exactly what type of SSD would be compatible if that would be my only option. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the response Promethee. Looks like I should have the BlizzardL motherboard, but what is the best way to 100% verify that? I'm just going off of the diagnostics it shows on my HP account for my PC.
Thank you for the link. So based on that type of SSD slot "M.2 socket 3, key M, type 2280 for SSDs" I would be okay to use something like this https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-black-sn770-1tb-internal-ssd-pcie-gen-4-x4/6495881.p?skuId=6495881&r... Or do you have an HP model or type of SSD you would recommend for this slot?

To find it follow this
for a desktop computer
HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? | HP® Customer Support
Give the full name with the product number P / N
HP Desktop M01-F1xxx
the requested product number must look like this
Product Number: 9EE50AA # ABA
the model corresponding to this number will therefore be
HP Desktop - M01-F1033wb
for the ssd it seems correct to me
I could not tell you a particular model, if not tested
but you can find some examples here, in other threads
WD_BLACK
BlizzardU similar

Hi Promethee,
I finally had some time to check this. I found my PN on the underside of my PC and looks like it's 33T59AA#ABA. Based on that information it looks like my motherboard might actually have a chipset called Intel® ADL H670. If I'm reading this right I should have another M.2 slot located under my GPU?
Would the same recommendations hold for these specifications? Again, thanks for the help - this is really my first time looking at doing any sort of self upgrade within a PC (with the exception of adding additional RAM).
Thanks!

Promethee,
Thank you for all the help. I ordered the a new 1TB SSD and installed it today. It was located underneath the GPU and I used a WD - Black SN770 1 TB internal SSD PCIE Gen4x4 for the install if you were curious. Worked flawlessly after install. Thank again!
