GTX 1050 TI Compatibility

Hello! I've been recently looking into getting a new graphics card and I found the GTX 1050 TI. I've been trying to look into whether or not it's compatible with my PC but I got very confused so I decided to ask here. I don't know whether or not this info is needed but my processor is the Intel Core i7-9700K.

Here are the Product Specifications for your workstation.  If you look at the section titled "Graphics" there are lists of compatible video cards.  Based on these lists, I can't tell you that the 1050 TI is compatible.

According to various real-life User benchmarks, I can tell you that the Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti IS compatible with your HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation, such as here: HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation Performance Results - UserBenchmark and here:  HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation Performance Results - UserBenchmark.

[EDITED:] My question is more: why this lower scoring graphics card: having an average bench score of just 31% according to UserBenchMark (UserBenchmark: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti)?   Perhaps you want to look into a GTX 1060 6GB which has a 57.3% average bench score, as seen here: HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation Performance Results - UserBenchmark or the GTX 1070-Ti which has a very respectable average bench score of 97.5%.  See this User: HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation Performance Results - UserBenchmark or the GTX 1080-Ti with a whopping average bench score of 136%, like here: HP Z2 Tower G4 Workstation Performance Results - UserBenchmark.
