An outstanding question!
Yes, your HP Pavilion 500-539 can run a GeForce RTX 3050 6GB low profile GPU just fine, even though your PC only supports PCIe 2.0 or 3.0 (depending on the CPU and chipset combo). PCIe versions are backward and forward compatible, so a PCIe 4.0 card such as the RTX 3050 LP will still work in a PCIe 2.0 or 3.0 slot -it’ll just run at the speed of the slot provided by your Orchid2-S motherboard.
Please keep in mind:
CPU Bottleneck: Depending on your CPU (probably the A10-7800), you may experience some bottlenecking in newer games, but the GPU will still be a big upgrade over integrated graphics.
