Hello,
I've recently bought a second hand 290 G1 SFF Business PC with a Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-8100 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz. I'd like to put a GPU, but I'm not very good with hardware, so before buying a GPU I'd like to know if my computer is compatible.
So ideally I'd like to put a 1050ti, however, when I check in userbenchmark I understand nothing.
Could someone help me please ?
If this GPU is not compatible, could someone tell me the better GPU for my computer ?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
The best power supply available for an HP 290 G1 SFF is a 180-watt power supply, which is what you got.
A GTX 1050 has a 75-watt TDP, which requires a minimum 250-watt power supply. Trying to run this card with a 180-watt power supply is sort of chancy, I wouldn't do it.
There are two graphics cards which I would recommend for your desktop, the Nvidia T400 4GB GDDR6 which has just a 30-watt TDP, or the Nvidia Quadro P1000 4GB GDDR5, which reportedly has a 40-watt power consumption.
These cards are the two best performing cards to run off your 180-watt power supply.
You can purchase these cards online, such as via Amazon and eBay.
Kind Regards,
