I am thinking of doing some high-end gaming on my PC. My present relevant desktop stats for my 6 year old computer are:
h8qe
• Windows 10 [64-bit]
• 2nd Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3820 processor [3.6GHz, 10MB Shared Cache]
• 10GB DDR3-1600MHz SDRAM [3 DIMMs]
• 2TB 7200 rpm hard drive
• 1GB AMD Radeon HD 7570 [DVI, HDMI, DP, VGA adapter]
• 460W Power supply
• Premium Wireless-N LAN card and Bluetooth(R )(2x2)
• 15-in-1 memory card reader, 4 USB 2.0 (front), 2 USB 3.0 (top)
From what i read, all these stats are good except for the graphics card. Can I easily upgrade this, if so to what should I consider? Or am I kidding myself and my PC is just too old for the gaming duty.
Thanks for your input.
Michael

He's correct about the internals, and suggestions.
The original OS was WIN 7, and it had a boot environment called BIOS. It does not conform to the newest standard called UEFI (UEFIvBIOS). There was a WIN 8 version, but the BIOS is still as version 7.15 (BIOS not UEFI).
The best graphic card (if you could find it), would be the GTX 660 or GTX 670. I have had the best results with the EVGA brand. But, that also requires a new PSU rated at 550-600W with a max depth of 5.5". Anything longer and you need to measure to the DVD drive plugs.

Note: HP Doesn't recommend any upgrade/downgrade of any hardware parts or software that is bundled with the product. It may affect the manufacturer's warranty and performance. You can change the configuration at your own risk.
As far as the product is concerned, I see the Introduction date as: 07-Jun-2012, This PC looks to be very old and obsolete, I would suggest the best option would be to purchase a new PC.
I hope this information helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than glad to help.
