I have a HP Prodesk 400 G4
P/N: 1GG07UT#ABA
i5-7500 3.4Ghz
8GB - 1 module
256GB SSD
Intel 630 integrated video
180w Power Supply
I want to add a video card.
HP recommends the Nvidia NVS 310 1GB Low Profile card with two HDMI outputs, and 19w power consumption.
I want to connect 3 monitors, so what I want to know is can I use the Nvidia GT 710 1GB Low Profile card, with VGA, HDMI, and DVI outputs, also 19w power consumption.
On amazon some people wrote the GT710 needs a 300w PS.
Can I use the GT710 with the 180w PS, and if not how can I connect 3 monitors?
I currently have 1 monitor connected to the VGA port, and two other monitors connected using Startech USB2DVIE2 adapters, but on those two monitors the mouse cursor movement is very choppy, and videos look like they are in slo-mo.
Previously I had a 6 year old laptop with half the memory, slower components, and windows 7, but the two monitors connected with the Startech USB2DVIE2 adapters worked fine.
I tried a few windows and software tweaks, re-installed and upgraded drivers, disabled hardware acceleration, but nothing worked.
Thanks.

Hi,
Does HP certify and stock the NVIDIA 710 for your PC?
I see that in this manual that HP lists the HP OEM 730. Review page 8. Contact HP Part Surfer by phone and ask about the NVIDIA 730 that is listed for your PC.

I called HP, they said the Nvidia NVS 310 1GB and Nvidia GT730 1GB 8x PCIe are the only cards supported and will work with 180w PS.
But they only have 2 outputs.
Can I use one of these card for two monitors and the integrated Intel 630 for a 3rd monitor???
Thanks.
