HP ENVY 700-327c Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I am looking for advice regarding a graphics card upgrade.  I need something that has DirectX 12 support and 4 GB memory compatible with my HP Envy 700-327 desktop CPU.  Leaning more toward photo editing performance than gaming.  I have a ViewSonic VP3481 monitor.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions!  GMc

@rrwidow89,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP ENVY 700-327c Desktop PC (F3F07AA) according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04291966, is fitted with a Pegatron Memphis-B (SSID: 2AF7) motherboard which is ATX-enabled powered, meaning it can be swapped with ANY ATX industry power supply, providing it has the same (or smaller) physical (LxHxW) dimensions.

However, your desktop is fitted with a 300 watt power supply, and in my opinion, this low budget ($199.99) graphics card is a great example that meets your needs precisely without changing your PSU: the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce GTX 1650 OC 4GB -and yes, this GPU is capable of DirectX 12 as per: GeForce GTX 1650 Zotac Gaming OC 4GB Can Run PC Game System Requirements (game-debate.com).

You can get one here, for example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0881YZJ45?tag=phenombuilt0d-20&linkCode=osi&th=1&psc=1.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

Hello, there!

I just wanted to thank you again for your guidance in replacement of my graphics card.  I actually went to an Nvidia GeForce 1650 (I had replaced the oem power supply with a 500w when the old one died months back).  Easy install and works like a champ!  I can actually access the full resolution of my monitor now as well!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
