The HP 690 utilizes an HP proprietary PSU design, that has a max of 500W being offered.  Any GPU card must consider the power needs.   Your base inquiry is too vague.  What is the purpose ?  Name the most intense game ?  Your existing RX 580 (185W) is supplied with a 400W PSU.

Well... I want to play many different games but when I play them the frame late goes really low even when I lower the graphics.

OK here is my spreadsheet with GPU and PSU combinations.   These are just examples.  Your trapped at the RX 580 for an AMD card.  Going Intel ? Some better cards.  Your already supporting an 185W card. An RTX 2070 is better, and could be supported by the existing 400W. It is just a matter of card length.

@Brandon12339933,

If you keep the existing 400W PSU, the comparison of the rx580 and rtx 2070.

An upgrade to the 500W PSU  # L05757-800 would increase that potential another 100W.  Now your into the RTX 3070. The Zotac RTX 3070 is a 9.1" card. Wait time on the rtx 3070 is over 30 days.

So if I don't change my PSU and it stays 400w I can purchase a 2070 and put on? As well to the 3070 if I change my PSU to a 500w I can purchase and use it? But wouldn't it be slower because of the CPU? Or would it be faster? (Sorry if I ask too many questions)

Is the Ryzen 5 2400g good for both of those cards?
