Greetings, Hopefully Helpful Reader!

 

I have recently come to the realization that having a computer (the computer in question being a Hewlett-Packard HP ProDesk 600 G1 SFF) whose only graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics 4600 is a very bad idea for the type of work I am trying to do. I have found that some of the programs I am trying to run simply do not support my graphics cards (the software in question is DaVinci Resolve) and will not boot properly with them. Thus I have embarked on a journey of research into the subject, only to be sharply halted by the fact that I have no idea what I am doing. If anyone more experienced would be able to recommend a graphics card (preferably one that is still receiving driver support) that would be greatly appreciated.

 

Oh, and here are my computer's components, if they would be of use:

  • Motherboard: HP 18E7
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz
  • Graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 4600
  • RAM: 16 GB

you have some examples here
it can be complicated, so this model in relation to the format, particular model of graphics cards, and power supply
check what is recommended for the program, but it might be easier, to change computer
