Envy 700-060ea
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a (still) stock Envy 700-060ea desktop.

Researching tells me I can upgrade ram to 32GB from the standard 16GB, will be doing this in the near future. But right now I've just bought an MSI Radeon RX 570 8GB ARMOR Graphics Card. Looking at PC specs, everything seems to be ok, PSU, RAM, O/S however the, original Geforce GTX 760 that came in it only has a 6 pin power supply lead, the new one has an 8 pin. I've ordered a 6-8 pin adapter. Will this still be ok? Will the card run well enough as is once the adapter arrives?

You will be OK with the 6 pin to 8 pin adapter.

It's been suggested I can just use the 6 pin lead  I already have. Is this correct??
