Hi I have a H8-1124 HP pavilion desktop and I'm trying to upgrade the he and card works fine to a msi 470 4gb gpu and it turns on but does not displays is there anyway to fix this and yes I have a better power supply to handle the 470 4gb?

@Fallen94, welcome to the forum.
I believe that your problem is caused by the fact that the video card is not compatible with your motherboard. The RX 470 requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard/Legacy BIOS. HP didn't begin using UEFI until mid-October, 2012. Your computer was released in September, 2011. I suggest that you contact the manufacturer's Tech Support to see if they have a VBIOS update that would make the card compatible with a Legacy BIOS.

@Fallen94, you should contact MSI's Tech Support. They are the experts on their products. I believe they are a good company and should have good Tech Support.
