Hard drive not booting. I did a hard drive DST check.

I want to know what this code means :

Failure ID RLG7N1-7KL9H1-WPTWL1-618103

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

The failure code means you have a full test failure on the primary boot HDD.

 

You will have to replace the HDD. Data on this HDD may not be recoverable.

 

You would have to connect the HDD to a different PC using a SATA to USB cable (Link to Amazon) or connect the HDD internally to a different PC using an open SATA port.
