Hi there, I'm thinking about buying an all-in-one-pc - something like the HP 34-b100na :-

Currently I use a conventional LED monitor which I can switch between 2 different PC's (i.e. my current monitor offers multiple input ports and I can use either PC, simply by switching between them on the monitor). I noticed in the HP tech specs that the above model seems to have a HDMI input port so I'm wondering if I could carry on doing something similar?
I guess what I'm asking is whether the 34-b100na's HDMI input allows an external signal to be displayed (on its screen) or is it maybe a port which can only be accessed through software - e.g. by some video recording software?
