There are two compatible power supply upgrade options available for your PC:

400-watt:  HP Part # L04618-800

500-watt:  HP part # L05757-800

You can purchase these power supplies online, such as on eBay or Amazon.

Or you can check to see if HP has either one available at the link below:

Thanks but I have one more question.

Is HP p/n L78657-001 (400w psu) also compatible with the M01-F3214 ?

L78657-001 psu fits a HP TG01-2018 desktop and the PWRCMD plug has a 3 wire pin out

L70042-006 psu fits the M01-F3214 desktop and the PWRCMD plug has a 4 wire pin out

Per the thread link below it would seem the PWRCMD plug has varying amounts of actual wires on the pin out depending on the PSU.

If the 500-watt:  HP part # L05757-800 psu fits BOTH TG01-2018 desktop and M01-F3214 desktop models then I would assume the 400 watt psu L78657-001 will fit in both of these as well ?

Since I have an extra L78657-001 400 watt PSU I am hoping it will be compatible with the M01-F3214 desktop

thx again

You're very welcome.

Sorry but I can't answer that question because when I enter the  L78657-001 part number in the HP PartSurfer database, it doesn't even show up.

The ones I posted, show up in the database and have a list of the model series the PSUs can work in.

So, I recommend you start new discussion on that.
