Hi!
I have HP 14-an012nr laptop.
(AMD E2-7110APU, 4G RAM)
Can I upgrade the RAM of this laptop?
I wonder if I can add 8G DDR3L RAM at this laptop.
I also would like to know the maximum RAM support of this model.

I found the product manulas for your PC

Hi,
Your machine uses UMA graphics with 32GB of eMMC storage:
http://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05201404
Therefore it has
Two non-customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slots
Regards.

How in the world are you an "HP Expert"?
UMA graphics and 32 GB of eMMC storage are not only two different components, but both of these have nothing to do with what kind of RAM slots this device has.
Everything in this device is accessible by customers. Just like a Desktop, all you need is a screwdriver.
I don't mean to be blunt, but you've had to have only gotten enough "thumbs-up" clicks on your comments to become an "HP Expert" because most people don't know enough to recognize that you possibly know less than they do, and there is no "thumbs-down" button to reflect that.
I like the products HP makes. They are very good quality. But HP should have some higher standards for what it takes to qualify as an expert.
I would give you a thumbs-down. Your comment literally made no sense to exist.

It appears the E-MMC 32GB storage is part of the mainboard on this unit. Is there a space to increase the internal storage on this unit? Add an SSD?
Thanks,
The 32GB eMMC is connected to the board is a separate module.
There is enough space inside of the laptop to upgrade the storage to an SSD, or an HDD that fit in most other laptops. You need to get a converter for one of these. Do a search on google for "HP 14-an012nr upgrade", and look in the videos section of the search. Many people have done the upgrade.
You can also remove the 32 GB eMMC drive.

Depending on the provisioning of the motherboard in your PC, you might be able to add a SSD if the motherboard has the proper connectors and the SSD connector board.
The least amount of effort and money might be to just install a 2.5" SSD.
I would suggest that you remove the back cover and take a photo of the motherboard and post it so that the community can determine how the particular motherboard in your PC is provisioned. HP has at times not provisioned motherboards for additional upgrades so it's improtant to know if I/O headers are available.
