Hi everyone,
I have a HP laptop which is stuck on the loading screen and I can't access my data. I bought the laptop to a third-part computer repair to, at least, recover the data. However, they couldn't access the hard-disk and backup my data after trying several recovery options. Is there any way to understand if the hard-disk is corrupted or any other steps to follow to

It is strange that a repair tech would not be able to get the data. Did the tech remove the hard drive and try another way?
I would first get/make a Linux Live - either DVD or USB to boot the laptop to the Linux. You can also open the laptop and remove the hard drive and connect it to a host and use the Linux Live from another PC to try getting the data.
If you need help/instruction for that, I can help.
I'm not an HP employee.
