Product: HP 2000-2b16NR Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Notebook 2000-2b16nr that had win 7. I installed win10 and everything seems to be ok except that it does not recognise the CD ROM. Can someone please help me? TY

The only suggestion I can offer would be to go through the troubleshooting steps at the link below and see if that resolves the problem for you:

 

Your CD or DVD drive is not recognized by Windows or other programs - Microsoft Support

 

Start with Methods, 4, 5 and 6 first.
