Hi everyone,
I need to ask some upgrading questions. I have a HP 290 G2 MT Business PC with Pentium Gold G5500, 12 GB DDR4 Ram, 128 GB M2 SSD and 500 GB HDD. I would like to install a discrete graphics card like RX 560 - GT 1030 - GTX 1050 etc... But you all know this desktop PC has only 180 W PSU. So is it correct that buy a graphics card although PSU is insufficient? Or is there any solution to upgrade my PSU? Can I take off the PSU and install a new one like 500-600W?
Somewhere I saw this PC's PSU can not be changed and I do not understand why. Isn't PSU a removable hardware like GPU, CPU, Ram?
I will so appreciate if you give me detailed answer. Thank you so much in advance.
Have a great day.
