Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

It is not possible to format or use in any manner. It shows write protected. It has become unusable. Any solution for this ?

@GM27001 , welcome to the forum.

 

Here is a guide that may help you solve your problem:  https://www.diskpart.com/articles/remove-write-protection-from-usb-1203.html

 

You should be able to use the Diskpart utility to clear the read-only.  If not, follow the next steps.
