So I recently bought this docking station but the connection cable is only 1m long. Which is not very viable with my home setup. Since i wanna switch it between my desktop and laptop depending on work days.
Anyone got a good suggestion or knows if extension cables work with this docking station?

Hi @3TickRick
The problem of using extenders, that can fail the USB ports, in general it is recommended according to the speed of the USB ports that has the PC, if you have a speed of 10 GB or more is recommended a maximum of 2 meters, put more degrades the speed and may have data loss.
