I would like to upgrade my HP 690-0067 Product # 3LA37AA#ABA, desktop's dvd to a blu-ray. What type and size (it appears it is a slimline). Any tips and suggestions are appreciated. I'd also like to know if I can upgrade the memory, how much can I add, type etc. Thank you

Welcome to HP Community
The HP PAVILION GAMING DESKTOP 690-0067C comes with the DVD - GNRC, ODD DVDSM 9.5mm Slim Tray RAZR. If you wish to upgrade to a Blu-Ray drive it needs to be a 9.5mm Blu-Ray drive.
You can refer to the Computer Specifications for Memory upgrades. Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05953209
Hope this helps 😊

RAZR is just a code name given to different categories of products. Those code names vary depending on the Manufacturer and is not a criteria for replacing parts.
The Bluray drive will be using the SATA connection similar to the DVD drive
Thank you 😊
