Hello,

 

I'm trying to use a m2 sata and a 2.5in SSDs and the m.2 I'm using isn't being read. Its not even seeing the drive in the bios. anytime have any ideas on what i can try?

That's 100% correct. 

 

The M 2 SATA SSD isn't recognized because it isn't supported in the model. 

 

You can only install a M.2 NVMe drive in that slot.

Hi:

 

The M.2 slot only supports NVMe SSD's not SATA.

I have an 800 G3 DM and installed a 1 TB Samsung 980 M.2 NVMe SSD and it works just fine.

Mine came with a 2.5in Sata and it works with that. When i add the M.2 it does not read the M2 at all, even if i take out the 2.5in SSD.
