Welcome to our HP User Forum!

The best performing/most powerful processor for your Odense2-K motherboard with SSID: 82F1 (see: HP Pavilion Power 580-015na Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support), is the i7-7700K as per its Intel H170 chipset compatibility: CPU-Upgrade: Intel H170 chipset processor support.

Hi

The socket is compatible but the chipset is not. You can go I7 six series CPU to I7 seven series CPU but you cannot go to a I7 eight series CPU on this chipset.

HP would have to allow this upgrade if it was possible (it is not possible) by providing a BIOS microcode update.

Thank you for your kind help

@SCREEN_NAME111,

You are quite welcome -you'll like the i7-7700K, it is an outstanding gaming processor when paired with sufficient RAM (16GB+) and a decent graphics card.
