Just bought a refurbished HP Elite 8300 with SSD 240 Gb. Already have an SSD in my HP Folio 3 notebook that I broke the screen on [yes, physically broke it]. Want to knw if there is a slot for adding the old SSD to the 8300 or if it can only be upgrading by replacing the SSD,

Almost all desktop pc's have at least 2-3 SATA ports on the motherboard so I am pretty sure you will be able to install it.
If you have only 2 both occupied by 1st HDD and 2nd by DVD-ROM...you can give up DVD-Rom and install another HDD on that port
Open the case and look for SATA ports...and for SATA power from the power supply..then you will know for sure!
