HP 960 Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard

One of the hinge clips under my left Shift key is broken, making the key not work 70% of the time. It's very frustrating to type as I rely on it. Is there a way to get a replacement for the key or just the clips? I still have several months of warranty left but could not get help through the contact options as it says "Sorry, we are unable to determine if there are any support agent options for your location at this time. You can use other resources below or please try again later." I also didn't know where to post keyboard-related questions as it doesn't seem like there's a board for peripherals.

Hi @amakaroni,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your concern.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

That sounds really frustrating, and I’d love to help you out. Just to understand better, did the hinge clip break on its own, or was there any accidental pressure or impact that might have caused it? Knowing how it happened will help determine the best solution for you. Let me know, and we'll take it from there!

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Hi @Kuroi_Kenshi,

Thanks for the reply! As far as I can tell, it broke on its own - the key stopped responding reliably so I carefully pried it up to see if anything was stuck and saw that the hinge clip was broken underneath. Unfortunately I'm not sure what could have caused it.
