I have a new HP 975 Dual Mode Wireless Keyboard, and a new HP 935 Creator Wireless Mouse. I bought them to use with two Windows 11 devices, I have them both connected to my desktop PC using the USB connector, and both connected to an HP Elitebook on Bluetooth connection #1. I did also connect Bluetooth connection #2 on both devices to my Win11 desktop PC to see if it worked, but I since switched Bluetooth connection #2 to pair with an Android device.
Problem 1: In the HP Accessory Center (HPAC), ever since I've paired the devices via Bluetooth to my desktop PC, under either "Managed Connections" or "Settings > Device Connection" it lists the hostname of the desktop PC against second Bluetooth connection. This remains even if I unpair, or pair to a different device entirely. It's the same for both devices. The list is, constantly and unchangingly:
USB: SHODAN
B: 2
B: SHODAN
With SHODAN being the name of my desktop PC. The first is correct, but I'm expecting the "2" to be the hostname of the Elitebook, and the third in the list to be either blank, or the name of the device connected to. Since they first got set like this, the connection names don't change even when the kb&m are paired to and working with completely different devices.
Problem 2: I'm expecting that when I change the connection on either the keyboard or mouse using the physical switch button on one or the other, the other device will follow to the same device ("Switch all possible devices" is enabled in HPAC). This does not happen for either device, the other does not also connect to the same device unless manually switched. I've just discovered it can switch both devices at once, but only when I click on a different connection from within HPAC itself. Given I've only got HPAC installed on the desktop PC, I can only use the physical buttons to move back to the first device, which leaves the other behind again. Having to open and use HPAC every time just ensure both devices switch at once isn't overly useful anyway, when the option is enabled both devices should be pulled across together however it's done, right?
To try resolve both problems, I've tried removing and reinstalling HPAC on the Win11 desktop PC. I've tried removing all Bluetooth pairings on the Win11 desktop PC, the HP Elitebook and the Android device then re-pairing. I've tried moving the USB devices to different ports on the Win11 desktop PC. I've tried using both of the USB dongles at the same time (one for keyboard, one for mouse) and just by connecting both devices to the keyboard USB dongle (which allows both to connect - that's how I'm currently set up). I've tried selecting "reset to default" for both devices in HPAC, but that just seems to reset any custom key bindings. Nothing has made any difference.
Is there way to completely factory reset both devices so I can try start again? Or is there any other way at all to resolve the issues above? Both devices were pretty expensive so I'd hope that the functionality would be less flaky than I'm finding it. Thanks.

No solution or ideas to this then I take it? In addition, I notice that the keyboard and mouse are both regularly listed as disconnected from the HPAC software. If I quit and restart the software, they're connected again. Problem being, that it seems when not connected, the keyboard reverts to its default behaviours (losing any custom key settings, reverting to higher power backlight settings than I was using, proximity sensor on rather than off etc - mean the battery lasts considerably shorter than I'd hope).
Is there any way of getting in touch with HP about this, despite these not being cheap items they don't have any sort of serial number attached to them that's accepted by HP support, meaning I can't get anywhere on that front.
