HP AIO PAVILION SSD Compatibility list
04-14-2021 02:10 AM

I would like to upgrade the SSD of HP Pavilion 24-A250na (Z7C36EA#ABU). Currently it is running a 128GB SSD. I would like to upgrade it with 512GB or 1TB preferably. Advise on the list of compatible SSDs on this that can work on this model.
Also, advise if the following ssd is compatible i.e. 1TB M.2 2280, PCIe Gen3x4 3D TLC, DRAM-less ?
Awaiting your kind feedback.

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05359931
It has
- 128 GB M.2 Solid State Drive (which is M.2 SATA SSD).
- 1 TB
From its specs, it supports M.2 SATA SSD drive therefore M.2 2280, PCIe Gen3x4 3D TLC won't work.
Regards.

Hi
many thanks for your feedback.
If i want to upgrade it to a 512GB of the same form factor, is there a list of compatible device that hp has? or is the machine limited to 128gb?

It does not make any sense. No compatible list on manuals
What is it existing M.2 SSD ? Device manager should tell you. 2242 is a half length drive therefore you should be able to get up to 1TB
