I can't answer the specific question -- but I can provide a bit of advice: DO NOT DO THIS!!
Why? Because, I thought it would be a simple matter to replace an HDD with a SDD, on a very similar model, and in the process of removing the case (following a youtube video that went into GREAT detail on HOW to do it!), I cracked the screen -- all the way across!!
Unlike typical desktops, these PCs are NOT designed to have hardware changes by end-users -- so they easily break when doing this.
If you are willing to risk a cracked screen, then have at it -- but unless you can find someone who has done this before -- WITHOUT cracking the screen -- my advice is to leave it alone.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
