My HP All-in-one - 20-c419in has been very very slow for about last 6 months. It has 4 GB RAM, Windows 11 home single language operating system, Intel(R) Pentium(R) Silver J5005 CPU @ 1.50GHz. When Microsoft edge is accessed the CPU and Memory reaches around 90% . As HP authorized service center contact numbers given for my area (Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India) are not in service, not able to get hold of a HP service person. Please kindly suggest what could be done.

It is a slow machine by designed. You can
Upgrade RAM: It has 4GB now. The cheapest and quickest way get improvement is to upgrade RAM to 16GB using compatible RAM such as

@banhien is correct, but even doubling your existing RAM from 4 GB to 8GB (2 x 4GB) would be helpful, and cheaper too.
And consider to upgrade/switch over to a solid state drive (SSD) if you haven't done so already. Depending how much storage you need, there are excellent deals available in the 500 GB range via eBay or AliExpress, for example.
Kind Regards,

original windows 10..
maybe related to windows 11?
possible to modify everything, because the processor is insufficient and no better option here
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Silver J5005 CPU @ 1.50GHz. When Microsoft edge is accessed the CPU and Memory reaches around 90% .
You will always have a problem with the CPU
, the HDD disk not very efficient, 4 gb insufficient, 8 gb may be just right, for certain uses
but beware, it's an all-in-one computer, very fragile, if too complicated, you'll have to go see a professional
but take into account that it is already quite old, replace everything, and if need to go to a professional, is it worth it?
Making a choice, either just the SSD, or just the memory, and if not better, depending on the cost, leave it at that, and opt to invest in a Windows 11 compatible computer later, would seem more reasonable to me for this type of computer
