I will explain everything in detail, today I got an NVME, I arrived home and proceeded to install it which all started to go from bad to worse, first I did not have the screw to connect it so I removed one that was not essential for the pc, then inadvertently pull a little cable and the video flexor is pulled out (the power is fine) after that I turned on the PC with everything already put and began to give me video errors (black screen, white and gray) after that I could fix the video flexor, inciir the pc and everything went great, after that I went to bed to sleep a few hours (it should be noted that I left the video flexor running and even made it work and everything was fine), after that I could fix the video flexor, start the pc and everything was going great, after that I went to sleep for a few hours (it should be noted that I left the pc running and even did several tasks on it) when I wake up and turn on the pc I notice that it does not turn on at all, only turn on the light that indicates that it is on and also only the mouse turns on. Today it started beeping, I cleaned the RAM and also tried to turn it on without the CMOS and NVMe 2.0. I am sure that the flexor is still working, yesterday it worked for about an hour and when I woke up from my nap it just did not turn on the screen, but if the pc turns on along with the fans and the m.2 light.

Hi @Samuel133,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Based on everything you've described here's a clear breakdown of what likely happened and the steps you can take next, considering your device is an HP All-in-One 24, where most parts are not officially user replaceable.
As I understand you have:
- Installed a new NVMe SSD (without the proper screw).
- Accidentally dislodged the video flex cable.
- Reconnected it and the PC worked fine for a while.
- Left the PC running, then after a nap, it no longer displayed anything, though the power light and fans turn on.
- You’ve tried:
- Cleaning the RAM
- Removing the CMOS battery
- Removing the NVMe
- Confirming the flex cable is still connected
Now the PC beeps, but still no display.
What You Can Still Do (Externally)
1. Power Reset (No Disassembly Needed)
This can help clear hardware glitches:
- Unplug the power cord from the wall.
- Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
- Plug it back in and try turning it on.
2. External Monitor Test
If your model has an HDMI out port, connect it to an external monitor or TV:
- If the external display works, the issue is likely with the internal display or flex cable.
- If not, the issue may be deeper (motherboard, GPU, etc.).
3. Listen for Beep Codes
Since you mentioned it started beeping:
- Count the number and pattern of beeps (e.g., 3 long, 2 short).
- This can help identify the failing component (RAM, CPU, display, etc.).
4. Check for Power LED Behavior
- Is the power LED solid or blinking?
- Does the fan spin?
- Does the screen flash at all?
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
