We have a Pavilion All in One desktop that we bought in May of 2020. Three months after the warranty expired the computer quit working. We took it to two different IT places and both have said the motherboard has failed. Does not sound like an easy or inexpensive fix. This was not a cheap computer. Any suggestions?

This really depends on what has failed on your motherboard.
I'm sure if you asked the IT shops what failed on the motherboard they could advise you on this. You maybe able to find a replacement motherboard on Ebay but depends how expensive this is and how experienced you are , if you're thinking of taking it to a IT shop to swap it out you may find that including labour its less expensive to buy a new machine and transfer the hard drive.
Wish you all the best , if you have any questions please let me know.
