Hi I have a old HP compaq 6200 pro MT that I am hoping to upgrade. It has an 15-2400, 4gb of ram(which I will upgrade to 8gb), and a 320w psu. I was wondering if I could use a GTX 750 ti with this machine. The specific card I have is https://www.cnet.com/products/asus-strix-gtx750ti-oc-2gd5-graphics-card-gf-gtx-750-ti-2-gb/. Will there be any issues with compatibility? Will the card fit? Thanks for answering 🙂

Hi:
You shouldn't have any issues with compatibility.
I have two 8200 Elite CMT's (same model as yours uses same BIOS family but the 8200 Elite has the Q67 chipset), one with the GT 730 and one with the GT 1030 and those cards both work fine.
Both of my 8200 Elites are runnning BIOS v2.28. With W10 you should not upgrade the BIOS beyond 2.28, or the PC will take up to 2.5 minutes to restart from a warm boot unless you hide the TPM.
Will the GT 750 fit? There is only one way to find that out...measure the card and the available space and if it looks good, go for it.
