According to your system spec it can come with a hard drive (3.5) and an SSD (2.5)
I assume you have only a 256gb hard drive so YES! you can easily add and SSD and arrange for windows to boot from it
FWIW, I picked up a 500gb SSD WD "blue" from walmart for $60. Not as good as an M.2 but I do not have m.2 on the system it went into.
