Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
HP Compaq 8200 Elite Base Model Small Form Factor PC with i5 2400 cpu. Can I upgrade to a i7 3770 cpu ? Or is i7 2600 the highest I can go??

Hi:
No Intel 3rd gen processor will work in the 8200 Elite.
The best you can do is the i7-2600.

For desktop boards based on the Intel® Q67 Express Chipset, Intel® Q65 Express Chipset, or Intel® B65 Express Chipset, upgrading from a 2nd Generation to a 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ Processor isn't possible.
